Geena Davis

Geena Davis is known as an American producer, actress, author and a women's rights advocate. The actress has been recognized for all her television roles in addition to her various roles in Hollywood. Before her work as a film actress, she worked as a designer for fashion and was a part of the semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery at Olympics. The passion she has for music from early childhood made her learn the flute and piano. The organist she played was in the Church situated in Wareham. When she graduated in drama from Boston University, she went to New York City to start acting professionally. She was required to put in a lot of effort and did occasional jobs before being offered a role in acting. The model had worked for several years prior to making her film debut with 'Tootsie. The movie was released in the year 1982. The actress appeared on numerous television serials and was able to enjoy an extremely successful acting career. In reality she received an Oscar Award with her film "The Accidental Tourist. The Golden Globe Award was presented to her in recognition of her part in an American show on television.
